I grew up in Chicago, but as soon as I graduated from high school, I hitched a ride across the country with a family heading to Yellowstone—and that adventure changed the direction of my life. Friends eventually brought me to the University of Montana, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Fire Management and Resource Conservation.
My career since then has been anything but traditional. I’ve worked in wildland fire and forestry, technology and education, earned two master’s degrees, taught overseas, and worked as a national trainer for a NASA education program. Each experience taught me to listen, communicate with all kinds of people, think on my feet, and stay focused under pressure.
Eventually, Cody and I made Grangeville home, where we raised our four kids, built our businesses, and became part of a community we care deeply about. I’ve also volunteered on our local school board because I believe being part of a community means showing up and contributing.
Real estate brings together so many things I enjoy. I love research and numbers, technology, creative problem-solving, and negotiating. I’m straightforward, I listen to what my clients actually want, and I believe strongly in integrity and doing what I say I’ll do.
My technology background also drives our marketing. I want every listing we represent to look its absolute best online. From photography and drone imagery to video, 3D tours and digital marketing, I’m always looking for smarter ways to showcase a property and reach buyers.
Cody and I bring different strengths to the table, but we share one philosophy: listen, communicate, work hard, negotiate intelligently, and always do what’s right for our clients.
